This working group is dedicated to the search of cutting edge technologies for the production of processable oligosaccharides either through controlled depolymerization of natural polysaccharides or controlled polymerization of mono- and disaccharides. WG2 aims at providing a library of oligosaccharides with defined physicochemical properties. Their concomitant or subsequent chemical functionalization is also investigated.
